Art journal peek

Have a peek in my art journal :)

Why I actually wanted to show this is for the following reason: You will probably see I'm shaking a bit. Although I'm recovered from a muscle disease flare-up, there are still traces visible.
I have pain, on a daily base. Some days I'm shaky or have myoclonic seizures... But what's the point in staying home? Most people will judge. (I had more criticism than I could handle really) What's the point of taking meds if they turn you into a zombie? What's the point in going to the hospital if they send you from one doctor to the other, not knowing what to do next?

My painting techniques aren't perfect. My body isn't perfect. But that doesn't stop me. I've learned to ignore the pain and keep on doing what I love. (And maybe my work will be a little wonky because of that but... who cares!)

I love how you cultivate beauty and light
in the midst of your ache.
    Well done, you.
Cheering in your corner over here,

  3. Thanks so much for sharing this! You don't need a steady hand to make great art! Art should be expressive of who you are! And I'm always a supporter of adding more wonky-ness to the world!
