[Bloom True] The first week.

Some of you may know I'll be moving soon. Yet I've decided to follow the E-course Bloom True by Flora Bowley. She's one of my favorite painters and I'm so honored to learn from her. The only struggle I have is the fact I'm busy with packing boxes, one of these weeks the DIY projects will start in my new home... so eh, the timing doesn't seem very perfect, is it?

So I decided to start in an art journal. That went well. But seeing everyone's huge canvasses in the FB group... it was very tempting. After a few days I gave in.

I joined the group on working big. Since I don't have much space indoors (with all the boxes etc), I'm painting in the garden. The weather has been very nice the last few days, so I had time to catch up.

Here I continue working on the big canvas. It's 1m x 1m (or 39" x 39"). It's not huge but still my biggest canvas I've worked on so far. Yes, it's scares me a little but I guess that's part of the process.

And that's how the end of the week looks. 1 canvas, one art journal spread, one A4 page. I can't wait to continue painting. Luckily there are some prompts and exercises left I can work on these days.
